Mrs. Margaret Durkee

Durkee Margaret M. Jamack Durkee, 73 of Philadelphia. Passed away peacefully on April 7, 2011 at home surrounded by her family. Margaret was the wife of the late Leslie B. Durkee, Sr and the daughter of the late Anthony and Rose Anderson Jamack. Two sisters Evelyn Gourley and Rosemary Rony, two brothers Anthony Jamack and David Luka predeceased her. Margaret was a homemaker who enjoyed raising her children, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Margaret is survived by her children Linda Lidiardello of Phila, Brian of Phila, Leslie, Jr of Phila, Kimberly and the late Joseph Moffatt of Glenolden, Joseph of Phila and Keith of AZ. Her 10 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren, One sister Joyce Kerfoot of Phila, three brothers, Joseph Luka of Collingdale, Daniel Luka of Glenolden and John Luka of Aston Relatives and friends are invited to Margaret's Life Celebration Wednesday evening 7-9PM and Thursday morning 9-10AM at James F. Knoetgen of Morton, 746 Kedron Ave, (Rt. 420) and to attened her Mass of Christian Burial Thursday 10:30AM at Blessed Virgin Mary Church, 1101 Main Street, Darby, PA 19023.
