Mrs. Elizabeth Moran

Elizabeth T. (Bette) Moran was called to Heaven on April 15, 2011. Bette died peacefully at home in Morton PA. After a long illness. A native of Grays Ferry (South Philadelphia), Bette was a loving wife & mother of 6 children. Bette was born on October 7,1920 to James & Violet Keenan. Bette married Edward Moran on November 18, 1939. Bette is survived by her sons, Edward (Mary Ellen), Dennis (Mary), Brian (Terry), and her daughters Elizabeth (Robert) Garner, and Mary Violet Moran and Mary Violet's companion Garry Goodnow. Bette is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren; her sister, Florence Warekis and sister in law Eleanor and Jean Keenan and Helen Moran. Bette will be rembered fondly by numerous nieses, nephews, friends and family members. Bette is pre deceased by her Husband, her son James and James daughter Helen, her 5 brothers and two sisters. Also predeceasing Bette are her dear friend Charles Porter, her 5 brothers, and 2 sisters. Bette was an active member in Our Lady Of Fatima's Senior group (Secane, PA.) and a formermember of St Gabriel's Blessed Virgin Mary Sodality (Philadelphia PA).Family and friends are invited to Bette's Life Celebration services Tuesday evening from 6 to 8pm and Monday morning from 8:30 to 9:30am at the James F. Knoetgen Funeral Home of Morton 746 Kedron ave (RT.420) Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday morning 10am at Our Lady Of Perpetual Help 2130 Franklin Ave Morton PA.
