Mr. William Markowitz

Markowitz William S. Markowitz, 85, of Folsom. Passed away peacefully on March 15, 2011 at home. He was the son of the late John and Anna Galashevitz Markowitz. One son James Markowitz and two sisters Anna Storiali and Stella Neiman predeceased him. William was a retired Upper Darby School District Maintenance Technician who liked woodworking and organic gardening. He was also a member of PASR and the American Legion. William is survived by his wife of 58 years Margaret M. Hall Markowitz , his son Dale W. (Kathy) Markowitz of Springfield, four grandchildren Tara, Kristen, Amanda and Matthew, one great granddaughter Ava, two brothers Joseph of Darby and John of MD. Relatives and friends are invited to Williams Life Celebration Thursday eve 6-8PM at James F. Knoetgen of Morton, 746 Kedron Ave (Rt. 420) and to attend his Mass of Christian Burial Friday 10AM at Our Lady of Peace Church, 208 Milmont Ave, Milmont Park, PA 19033. Interment will be private.
